The Inn

We are within walking distance off the famous Cardigan Castle that holds the title of Channel 4’s Great British Buildings Restoration of the Year Award, afters its £12 million lottery grant to make it Cardigan’s biggest tourist attraction. Also we are within 3 miles from the famous Cardigan beech, Poppit sands.

Being one of the oldest, and in some history books the oldest local pub still in existence, The Red Lion’s history dates back as far as 1632. For many years The Red Lion was owned by the Welsh brewer Brains. In 2012 it become a free house and with that we are benefiting from serving one of Cardigans locally brewed beers Mantel which is brewed in the town itself.

Positioned in a peaceful location for weekends away sightseeing in Ceredigion, also we are well situated for walker’s wanting to walk the Coastal Paths, (with pack lunches available on request). We are in the town centre with free parking available on request for everyone including professionals or tradesman working away. We are happy to deal direct with Employers or on an individual bases when you are working away.
